CATHERINE GEOGHEGAN (BA HONS)

PRINCIPAL


Catherine has a BA (Hons) degree in Drama and Dance and has written a thesis on the laws governing child performers in television. Catherine is also an experienced Voice, Drama, and Expressive Arts Teacher having worked in state, private and Stage schools in Australia and England. In addition to teaching Catherine has devised and led a number of workshops to support the key stages of the national curriculum along with theatrical and television performance workshops. Catherine also has vast experience as a Performer, Director, Workshop-Leader, and Theatrical Agent. She has also ran her own professional Theatre Company and her experience to date in theatre and television includes:

Theatre: Children of Cain, One for the Road, Strictly For the Birds, From Shakespeare to Coward, Dancing for Wishes. Television: SMTV Live/ CD/UK, It's a knock Out, Kilroy, Tomorrow's World.

Catherine founded StageArts with after school clubs and workshops in Dance and Drama across North London. She then went on to realise her dream and opened her own Theatre Schools in Hemel Hempstead, Welwyn Garden City, and Stevenage. Catherine has planned a very exciting future for StageArts, with new schools opening soon across Hertfordshire. With all her experience, Catherine wishes to provide an inspiring, positive and fun learning environment for those who wish to excel with StageArts.


EAMON GEOGHEGAN

ARTISTIC DIRECTOR


Eamon has been an actor for over twenty years and his theatre credits include Stephen in Dealer's Choice at The Salisbury Playhouse, Julius in Cheeky-Chappie at The Haymarket Basingstoke, Marlow in She Stoops To Conquer (Pakistan tour)  Playboy in Playboy Of The Western World (UK Tour) and Flat top in Starlight Express at The Apollo Victoria, London.

His television credits include: The Family Man, Hustle, Murphy's Law, Eastenders, Doctors, Waking The Dead, Rose And Maloney, A Touch Of Frost, Foyle's War, Midsommer Murders, Bad Girls, The Bill, Trial & Retribution, The Sight, Inspector Morse, The Brief, The Stretch, The Knock, London's Burning, Bodyguards and most recently, the critically acclaimed, Shoot The Messenger. Eamon's film experience to date is V for Vendetta, Shiner, The Criminal, Thin Ice, Sugar-Sugar, Nailbiter, The Box and Legend of 1900.

As well as acting in Theatre, TV and Films, Eamon has successfully run his own Theatre Company and Directed World Premiered Plays including Children of Cain, Strictly for the Birds, A Tribute To Hancock, Cinderella's Fellas, Elsie and Norm's Macbeth, One For The Road. Eamon is delighted to be asked to be the Artistic Director for all of StageArts Theatre Schools.
